KAREM OCAMP DISCUSSES THE PROGRESSIVE REVOLUTION

While we were in Santa Monica last week, we sat down with Karen Ocamb, news editor for Frontiers in LA magazine, the top LGBT publication in the Los Angeles area. It’s a great mix of LGBT news, culture and entertainment for both the LA area and statewide. Karen has a multi-part interview with Mayor Villaraigosa that just started, his first sit-down interview with LGBT press in several years.
In addition to her forthcoming piece, Karen wrote a post on Huffington Post in which she discusses what Obama’s first 100 days has meant for LGBT advocates, and how what Mike calls “the Culture of Caution” relates to Obama’s moves on LGBT issues. You can read the entire piece below the fold.
